About the Role
As a Full-Stack Developer on the ModernZAI team, you will build the web application layer of Rensora's enterprise application modernization platform. ModernZAI helps large organizations analyze, plan, and execute the modernization of legacy systems — and your work will make those complex workflows accessible through intuitive, responsive interfaces backed by robust APIs.
You will work across the entire stack: designing React/TypeScript frontend components that visualize code analysis results and modernization roadmaps, building Node.js and Python backend services that orchestrate AI-powered analysis pipelines, and integrating with databases and external systems. You will collaborate with ML engineers who build the underlying intelligence and with designers who shape the user experience.
This role is a great fit for developers who enjoy building products end-to-end and want to see their work used by enterprise teams making critical decisions about their technology stacks. You will have ownership over features from design through deployment, and your input will shape both the technical architecture and the product direction of ModernZAI.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain React/TypeScript frontend components for complex modernization workflows — including code visualization, dependency mapping, and migration planning interfaces
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs that power the ModernZAI platform, ensuring clean contracts between frontend and backend
- Develop backend services in Node.js and Python that orchestrate AI-powered code analysis and modernization pipelines
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL to support enterprise-scale application analysis datasets
- Implement authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant data isolation for enterprise clients
- Write comprehensive tests — unit, integration, and end-to-end — to ensure reliability across the stack
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished, accessible production interfaces
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning to continuously improve team practices and product quality
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications with modern frameworks
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with experience building complex, data-rich user interfaces
- Backend development experience with Node.js and/or Python, including building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, query optimization, and migrations
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern deployment workflows
- Strong understanding of web security fundamentals — authentication, authorization, input validation, and OWASP best practices
- Experience with version control (Git), code review practices, and collaborative development workflows
- A product-minded approach to engineering — you care about what you build, not just how you build it
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise software or B2B SaaS platforms, particularly those serving technical users
- Familiarity with code analysis tools, AST manipulation, or developer tooling
- Experience integrating AI/ML services into web applications — streaming responses, async processing, or real-time updates
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience building accessible web interfaces
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts, or similar) for presenting complex datasets
